Cafe Napoli Lunch Program Guidelines

Welcome to Café Napoli’s School Lunch Program! We are excited to partner with your school to bring your children fresh, hot lunches daily!

Here are some general guidelines to help you navigate lunching with ease:

  • Create a FoodDays account for your family and begin ordering Cafe Napoli lunches for your children weekly or for the entire month. Simply go to cafenapoli.myfooddays.com.
  • Orders for the following week need to be placed by Thursday at 11:59 pm. This timeline is crucial to our planning of supplies.
  • Want to place a late order? Please email theHumans@FoodDays.com directly. There is a limited “last-chance menu” available up to 24 hours prior to service. Late fees apply.
  • You will be able to track your order history and easily reorder your favorites.
  • Parents have the flexibility to pay for lunches at the time the order is placed or to preload payment and replenish as needed.
  • There are no refunds for absences, but you may coordinate same-day pick up of your child’s lunch. School must be notified by 10:00 am and picked up by end of school day.
  • Cafe Napoli tracks your school’s calendar, but not field trips. Please plan accordingly.
  • Credits are not issued for closures without 48 hours notice (including snow days), as supplies have already been procured.
  • If you wish to cancel or modify an order, you may do so online within the ordering period.
  • Credits will be managed by Cafe Napoli and will be applied directly to your FoodDays account. Please submit any credit requests via email directly to napolifamilyde@gmail.com.
  • Parents can order for multiple children within the same transaction.
  • All “entrees” include a choice of a side, e.g., yogurt, cheese stick, fruit, or veggie.
  • Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, and Dairy-Free options are available.
  • A portion of the proceeds are donated back to your school.
  • Please email napolifamilyde@gmail.com directly regarding food, service, and credit-related questions or concerns.

 

How It Works

We've partnered with FoodDays to make ordering school lunch easy!

You will receive an email each time an ordering period launches.

You may place or adjust your order up until Thursday night for the week ahead.

You can pay as you go with credit/debit card or your bank account if you pre-load with the required funds to cover your future order and top up as necessary.

Once you've chosen your items for all of your children you can go to the checkout to complete your order - it's that easy!

You can go on the system anytime to see what you ordered, you can print the orders, download them to your calendar or bookmark your personal "Show Future Orders" link so that you can see what's coming up without logging in - ideal for adding to the home screen of your children's devices.

 

Get Started

image01.pngTo order on FoodDays you'll first need to sign up, add children to your account and then place orders. Remember that you can go back and change your order anytime up until the weekly deadline.

 

Sign Up

image06.pngIf you’re new to FoodDays you’ll need to register. Click ‘Sign up!’ 

New users will be taken to a signup wizard. Follow the instructions to complete the process. 

In the 'Add New' wizard, add your first child. Don't forget to click ‘Save.'

Follow the wizard to add additional children. You cannot order lunch until you have chosen a teacher/grade for your child.

 

Ordering

image08.pngWhen you first sign in you’ll be taken to your Account homepage where you’ll find options for Account, Payments, etc. 

You’ll see a list of your children with the available ordering options for each child, grouped by new, current or past. 

To order... Click on your child or highlighted ordering period to start ordering for your child or family. (You cannot order lunch until you have chosen a teacher/grade period for your child.)

Remember to click Checkout when you have finished ordering to save your order. You can place an order for each child before completing checkout.

This is what the order form looks like:

As you order for each day, the calendar days will change from Red to Green to signal that you have an order on the day. 

Note: For favorite items, click "Copy these choices to every..." Under each item, you'll see future days turn green as your choices are copied.

 

Review & Payment

When you have finished ordering, click Done to return to the main menu or click the checkout cart.

At checkout, you can:

  • Review your orders for accuracy
  • Review your balance
  • See orders

After checkout you can return to the main page to download, print, or export your orders directly to your calendar.

You must complete checkout or your order will not be placed. 

 

Credits

Credits will be managed by Cafe Napoli and will be applied directly to your FoodDays account. Please submit any credit requests via email to napolifamilyde@gmail.com. You will be able to view any credits on the Payments page and will be automatically deducted from your next order. 

 

Settings

image09.pngFrom the main page, you can update your account to manage your account profile and email preferences, as well as to add/edit children.
